Women deserve the right to decide for themselves when and how many children to have. The struggle to protect women’s reproductive health and access to abortion care is entering a crucial phase. At the state level, across our country, hundreds of laws have already been enacted limiting women’s right to choose. Examples of these laws include allowing pharmacists to refuse to fill birth control or other legal prescriptions, Nation-wide we have only to look at the recent Supreme Court ruling on Hobby Lobby to see the Additionally, states are actively pursuing legislation that would say “personhood” begins at conception. The GOP continues to press all Republican candidates to work to overturn Roe v. Wade and to weaken it at every possible step.
